Pretend play provides children an opportunity to act out things that they are learning, this is a pre-linguistic skill.
We encourage parents and children to use this space to have tea parties, feed the baby, go to the “doctor”, vacuum the carpet, etc.
This area contains toys that build motor skills as well as cognitive (thinking) skills.
Kids can find blocks, beads, balls, puzzles, and cause-and-effect toys.
We encourage parents to imitate and take turns with children.
